Despite having been debunked, discredited, and publicly humiliated so many times that those of us without an advanced degree in mathematics have lost count, bloated carny Wolfgang Halbig is somehow still out there (as opposed to locked up in a loony bin somewhere), doing his thing, shamelessly exploiting the slaughter of twenty small children and seven adults in a sad and fruitless attempt to be finally recognized as someone important (oh, and of course raise over $100,000 in the process).

One of Wolf’s favorite methods of disseminating his barely-literate and unhinged gobbledygook is an e-mail list that he’s compiled using the (unsolicited) e-mail addresses of anyone who has ever contacted him. I know this because I inexplicably found myself included in the list after asking him – sometimes politely and other times not so much – for my $1,000. So I now have the extreme privilege of witnessing his slide into what I have to assume is dementia first-hand. And while Wolfgang spam is one of the last things I want to see upon opening my inbox, it does allow me to debunk his bullshit that much faster. Which – wouldn’t you know it – brings us to today.

Since Friday, an apparently unsupervised Halbig has managed to fire off an impressive eleven e-mails, four of which were sent on Monday alone. But while much of the material is completely unintelligible, I somehow managed to decipher the following two claims:

Claim #1:

This mystery hole was then upgraded from a “huge hole” to a “huge sinkhole like we have in Florida” in an e-mail sent out the very next day:

And yes, he really did write “WHY DO YOU THING?” Maybe once he’s finally done “researching” Sandy Hook, he can research how to proofread an e-mail for once.

Wolf’s photo of this alleged “sinkhole” – again, truly Florida-esque in its enormity – is a still from a dashcam video, recorded by one of the responding officers as they pass Sunnyview Terrace on their way to Sandy Hook School. This video – along with a handful of others – is freely available as part of the state’s final report, so it’s a bit odd that Halbig, who must be swimming in materials obtained via his multitude of FOIA requests at this point, had to go to YouTube for it.

So is this a sinkhole? No, of course not. What kind of sinkhole is runs parallel to and underneath of a road?  But if it isn’t a sinkhole, then what is it? Simple: it’s a small culvert, similar to the one seen here (which I found – unbelievably – by Googling “culvert”):

As for Halbig’s claim that the hole magically disappears “when the news shows up” – the implication seemingly being that the dashcam video must have been taken either long before or long after the footage captured by news crews  (though it’s never explained why this would be necessary) – is similarly bogus.  Seeing as how the culvert is visible in Google’s Street View of the area from 2008…

As well as Google Earth’s satellite imagery from 2012…

And in the infamous Channel 12 helicopter footage, taken the day of the shooting…

And then again in their Street View from 2014…

We can be absolutely certain that this “hole” – which again, is just a regular ol’ culvert – was there the entire time.

But while Halbig is technically correct when he says that there is “no sinkhole” visible during Gene Rosen’s interview with Fox News (but only because it’s a culvert, and not a sinkhole), the photo he uses to illustrate this point is – as one should expect from such a prolific liar – incredibly deceptive. The culvert is clearly visible behind Mr. Rosen throughout most of interview, but whoever took this screenshot for Wolfgang (as we know he is too technologically inept to do it himself) conveniently waited until his body was positioned directly in front of it, shielding it from the camera.

Compare Wolfgang’s still to the following, which I personally took from the same exact interview/video:

Notice that the culvert is visible, as plain as day, just off of Mr. Rosen’s right shoulder. Also take note of the time, which reads 2:32PM EST. This is important because it means that whoever captured the screenshot used in Wolf’s e-mail sat through six more minutes of this interview, until Gene stepped to his right and positioned himself in front of the culvert, before they hit “print screen”. And if you don’t believe that this was done intentionally, then I have a bridge to sell you.

Unfortunately for Halbig, no amount of dirty tricks can fully obscure the truth. Even in his deceitful screenshot, we can see yellow police tape surrounding the culvert so that no one accidentally drives into it.

Claim #2:

So Wolfgang’s desperately searching for someone smarter “then” him, which is, to be perfectly blunt, about as low as any bar gets. Assuming I can first understand what he’s actually asking here, I may be able to help the (self-professed) “old man”.

Ignoring the rather vague claim that he has been denied “public records” (and he’s likely referring to the Super Bowl Choir “permission slips” he’s inexplicably been chasing as of late), he appears to be completely befuddled by one of five posters hanging in the school’s west hallway, opposite the entrance to the cafetorium. Specifically, Halbig doesn’t seem to understand how the posters seen in this crime scene photo can “still be” on a wall for three years (and that is assuming they were hung the same year the artwork was created). Halbig incorrectly states that they’ve been there since “at least 2008” – which would mean that they had been hanging there for four years (still not an issue to any reasonable, intelligent adult) – but this is absolutely not the case. These posters are actually the end result of logo contest which, according to this June 5th, 2009 article from the Newtown Bee, took place in the spring of 2009 (which would of course make it impossible for them to be hung anywhere in 2008):

A logo contest was held for the topic and all the entries were on display for attendees to vote on at Reed Intermediate School on May 16. The contest asked participants to create a logo that would remind people to be “Nicer In Newtown.”

Out of 65 entries, there were five winners. According to that same article, those winners were:

Katharine Humber and Michael Meyer tied in the kindergarten through fourth grade level. Other winners were Alexandra Lotko (grades five through eight), Michaela Beaudry (grades nine through twelve), and Tiffany Lotko (adult).

Katharine Humber’s entry depicted people standing around Newtown’s flagpole and helping others. Michael Meyer’s entry showed notable buildings in Newtown and the flagpole. Alexandra Lotko’s entry depicted two hands making the shape of a heart and the words “People are Nicer In Newtown.” Michaela Beaudry’s entry showed a larger chicken nuzzling beaks with a baby chick and the words, “People are Nicer In Newtown, and Ms Lotko’s entry depicted a tree going through all seasons with the flagpole and the words, “People are nicer in Newtown all season long.”

Do those five descriptions sound at all familiar to you? They should, as they describe the five posters shown hanging in the hallway; the ones Wolfgang Halbig refuses to believe could still remain three whole years later.

As for how these posters are still on the wall three years later, “adhesives” would be my first guess, though I am admittedly not entirely sure as I did not personally hang them. But if Wolfgang is ignorantly suggesting that the appearance of these posters must mean that the crime scene photos were taken in 2008 (and again, this is entirely impossible as they’re actually from 2009), he’d also have to ignore all of the items in the school – and included in these same crime scene photos – that did not come into existence until after 2008. Some of those items include a children’s book from 2012; a number of magazines from as recently as December, 2012; 2012 calendars; SMART Tables and projectors manufactured between 2008 and 2010; etc.

Furthermore, the entire premise is flat-out nonsensical. Why can’t a poster remain on a wall for three years? Halbig does not bother to explain. There’s also a “Charlotte’s Web” poster directly across the hall. Does that mean that these pictures were taken in 1952? Of course not.

Sometimes I wonder if the Sandy Hook deniers are for real because, with little hyperbole, about 99% of the comments I read from them are rife with poor grammar, atrocious spelling, and seem to indicate a near total lack of understanding of modern American English.

I try not to stereotype the sort of numbnuts that denies the murder of children, because I know more than a few, but they make it so hard. It is like they want us to think they are all from a cliched version of the rural south.

No one believes you…aside from the 300 million or so Americans who aren’t complete idiots.

I am a believer that Sandy Hook was a staged event. I like to look at all points of view, hence why I’m on this site. While Mr. Wolfgang may not have perfect arguments, grammer is probably the least important aspect of it all. This site seems to be very biased to peoples beliefs. If you look at all the actual facts, you may start to question it yourself. But don’t just brush them off as nonsense right away. Ask yourself why and why not.

An example would be how those “families” are still making millions from donations by milking the whole situation. They’re still doing it up to today. Also, it’s funny how just about everyone’s home has been paid off in full the samee month. These are all facts that you can easily aquire legal proof of.

If you believe in debunked nonsense, then yes, I have a problem with your beliefs. With that in mind, I would proudly say that I am biased towards facts.

If you look at all the actual facts, you may start to question it yourself.

Again, my only concern here is the truth, so all I deal with is “actual” facts. If you’ve found something here that isn’t factual, I’d love to hear about it.

But don’t just brush them off as nonsense right away. Ask yourself why and why not.

This is exactly what I’ve done here with this site and it’s the reason this site even exists in the first place. I was challenged elsewhere to look into the claims being made by James Fetzer specifically and decide for myself. So that’s what I did, and this site is the result. I don’t know why some people find it so hard to believe that those of us who believe the Sandy Hook conspiracy theories are total nonsense didn’t start off by asking the very same questions as people such as yourself.

An example would be how those “families” are still making millions from donations by milking the whole situation. They’re still doing it up to today.

What is your source on this? Where is your proof that the families of the victims are still – to this day – making “millions”? Furthermore, how is that proof of anything other than the generosity of others? Should everyone who has ever received support in the form of money due to a tough or tragic situation be viewed as suspect? Where do you personally draw that line?

Also, it’s funny how just about everyone’s home has been paid off in full the samee month. These are all facts that you can easily aquire legal proof of.

If it’s so easy to obtain “legal proof” of this claim, then let’s see it. Because I’m pretty positive that this one has been sufficiently debunked.

It’s fine to ask questions, but you have to be prepared to look for answers, accept them, and then concede that maybe you were wrong.

    • Vitriol notwithstanding, you failed to update your taunting post with the latest wrinkle in Pozner’s lawsuit.
Pozner has employed a strategy of attacking those who question or challenge the government/media narrative of the staged event at Sandy Hook five years ago, and— until Halbig’s at-bat— has been thoroughly successful at getting others to back off.
Lauded as a hero who is standing up to nameless/faceless ‘conspiratards,’ Pozner fell inexplicably silent in the face of Halbig’s acceptance of his challenge.
Instead of shrinking off into the shadows, Halbig gleefully accepted the lawsuit filed by Pozner for in 2015 for posting his address, email and phone number online.
And, hero that he is, Pozner avoided service and deposition for over two years prior to dropping the suit altogether just last month.
Although he isn’t around for comment as to his intentions for dropping the suit after avoiding service and deposition for 32 months, perhaps he was concerned to have anyone determining his real name, since he has used more than a handful of aliases throughout.
      But really, who knows?
He dropped his own lawsuit to avoid being deposed.

      A real, American hero.

Why on Earth would I update a post about Wolfgang’s lies with information regarding an unrelated legal case… one that I’ve never reported on? What sense does that make?

Pozner has employed a strategy of attacking those who question or challenge the government/media narrative of the staged event at Sandy Hook five years ago, and— until Halbig’s at-bat— has been thoroughly successful at getting others to back off.

Pozner sued to have his personal information removed from Wolfgang’s site and Wolfgang removed it. So it sounds like he continues to be successful on that front, regardless of the civil case’s outcome.

Instead of shrinking off into the shadows, Halbig gleefully accepted the lawsuit filed by Pozner for in 2015 for posting his address, email and phone number online.

By “gleefully accepted”, do you actually mean “attempted to have the case dismissed numerous times and then refused to comply with discovery”? Because that’s all clearly outlined in the course docket, available here. They show that Halbig took almost a year to file his responses to Pozner’s initial set of interrogatories, and when he did, he objected to every last one of them. When asked point blank if Sandy Hook was a hoax by a later set of interrogatories, Halbig said he “doesn’t know”. Halbig is an obvious fraud and dunces like you are keeping his pockets nice and fat (though only metaphorically: those Dockers are already struggling).

Needless to say, the victim was able to provide the court with ample evidence of what befell the Jewish people in general, and he in particular.

I know the sum is too low for any lawyer to bother, unless the offending party was made to cover costs, but it would be funny to see someone sue Mr. Halbig for that $1,000.

Still, I doubt I’d have much luck actually collecting. After Halbig attempted to shut down SandyHookFacts.com (as it was interfering with his fundraising by telling the truth), the owner of that site – CW Wade – was awarded thousands in damages by the court. That was years ago, I believe, and Halbig has yet to pay up. Surprise, surprise.

There is a mountain of evidence that Sandy Hook happened. Familiarize yourself with the remainder of this site, order yourself a copy of the death certificates, read through the final report, etc. Unless you are mentally ill or in some other way on a permanent vacation from reality, this should suffice. Or maybe you’re the kind of intellectually dishonest prick who dismisses hundreds upon hundreds of official government documents as fakes without offering up so much as a shred of proof.

Also aren’t the parents and people involved in “Sandy Hook Shooting” exploiting the deaths of their minors to gain money to campaign??? Because if my calculations are correct, the victims were rewarded millions from the estate of Adam Lanza’s mother…….. doesn’t make sense.

The families of sixteen of the victims received $93,750 each from Nancy’s $1.5 million estate. So no, your calculations are not correct. And to be honest, the fact that you’re not all that good at math doesn’t come as much of a shock to me. But your logic is comparably abysmal, so at least it has some company.

Aurora Shooting victims didn’t get shit and there were videos/ample evidence as well as a high number of victims. Just saying.

To be clear, there is a video of James Holmes entering the lobby of the theater, but there is no video of him shooting anyone (and surely you understand that a commercial building is far more likely to be equipped with security cameras than a small elementary school). So, if I were to play devil’s advocate, I’d ask you how you know the shooting actually happened. Plenty of people don’t believe that it did, and they could point to a lack of video showing the actual shooting as proof of that. The goalposts can always be moved. As for the claim that they didn’t “get shit”, I’m not sure if you’re being ignorant or deceptive (or both!) here. The victims absolutely, positively (and many would argue rightfully) sued Cinemark in state and federal court. The problem is that the cases were decided in favor of Cinemark, and because this is Colorado (and not Connecticut), Cinemark was allowed to recover legal fees, and they asked the victims for ~$700k. They eventually dropped those claims against all but four victims. Your claim also ignores the fact that those same victims received over $5 million in donations from the Aurora Victim Relief Fund. There’s also the money raised by the National Compassion Fund/Aurora. And Holocaust survivors have received hundreds of millions in reparations from Germany, France, etc. In fact, I would challenge you to find just one high-profile tragedy in which the victims or their families did not at least attempt to recover funds. Just one.

Call me insensitive for feeling this way, but I have no personal connection with any of these kids so the fact that people are so distraught over strangers is interesting.

Explaining empathy to some anonymous dipshit is beyond the scope of this website, but you may just be a sociopath. Or, at best, an asshole.

Should be way more broken up about the loss, not sure why they still stay in the limelight but to try to convince of that everything was real.

The overwhelming majority understands that this shooting happened and do not need to be convinced. These parents – save for maybe Lenny Pozner – are not concerned with what the dark and disturbed recesses of the Internet – an almost minuscule minority – believe. At least not until these nitwits begin harassing them at home and at work, as they are prone to do from time to time. Furthermore, using your own example in the Holocaust, there are plenty of people still out there “in the limelight” combating Holocaust denial each and every day. So if raising awareness is at all suspicious to you, you’ve already given yourself plenty of ammunition to begin questioning the Holocaust as well. I’m sure James Fetzer will appreciate the company.

Fetzer – who I’ve also exchanged e-mails with – is also an idiot, and I have no doubt that he believes his own nonsense, but he is probably more of a conman than anything else.

      Intentionally deceitful.

Jim Fetzer and Wolfgang Halberg are both U.S. military intelligence operatives engaging in domestic psychological operations against the American public, under the direction of either the U.S. Dept. of Defense or the Central Intelligence Agency (most CIA operatives are ex-military). Jim Fetzer was in the U.S. Marines and Wolfgang Halbig was in the U.S. Air Force.

I can see why this would be a convenient line of thought for conspiracy theorists. Surely they’re an embarrassment to many, so it’s easier to believe that they’ve been planted here in order to make you all look stupid, or throw the skeptical off the trail, etc. But the truth is that they’re just silly old opportunists, Fetzer moreso than Halbig as he’s been doing it for decades.

  11. Hello Shill,

I have been looking at both sides of the issue and I wish you would cover some more telling evidence of this possibly being something other than what the media has led us to believe. You spent that much time and energy on a sink hole and a picture on the wall, at this point what you just “exposed” is a joke. No disrespect just honesty…..

      Kyle,

There’s a whole website here with sixty-eight entries in total. Which “telling evidence” are you looking for me to debunk? Because it’s probably already here somewhere. If you don’t see it, let me know.

You spent that much time and energy on a sink hole and a picture on the wall, at this point what you just “exposed” is a joke.

No offense, but I’m not entirely sure you understand what this entry is even about. Denier hero Wolfgang Halbig made some very specific claims in one of his many infamous e-mail blasts, and what I’ve done here is debunk those claims and only those claims. This single entry was never intended to be a complete deconstruction of the entire hoax narrative; just a fact-based rebuke of one of Wolfgang’s e-mails. The only joke here is that anyone takes Halbig seriously after these repeated blunders.

Again, if you’re looking for a particular claim, please utilize the site’s search feature.

    • “Both sides” of the issue?
A mentally ill person killed his mother, went to a school, killed 26 people and himself.
      What other side is there?

  12. WOW you deleted my comment…. that speaks volume, you are a complete JOKE!
You have Shill in your name for a reason. This douche made an entire article highlighting grammar, a sinkhole and a kids drawing on the wall give me a break. FUCK YOU AND ALL YOUR ARROGANT/IGNORANT FOLLOWERS.

Don’t get your pull-ups in a bunch, champ: no one deleted your comment. It – along with a number of other comments – went into moderation, where it was waiting for my approval. And I haven’t moderated the comments here in months, as I’ve been extremely busy. Unlike actual, admitted shills – such as Fetzer and Halbig – I don’t get paid to talk about Sandy Hook, so sometimes gems such as this one have to wait before they’re pushed through.

You have Shill in your name for a reason.

You do know that I chose that name for myself, right? It wasn’t bestowed upon me by anyone. I alone chose it. That’s why it’s there. Do you not understand satire? Or how the Internet works?

This douche made an entire article highlighting grammar, a sinkhole and a kids drawing on the wall give me a break.

As explained, I made an entire article debunking an e-mail’s worth of claims made by denier mouthpiece Wolfgang Halbig. If you have a problem with the gravity of the claims, take it up with him.

FUCK YOU AND ALL YOUR ARROGANT/IGNORANT FOLLOWERS.

Didn’t you just end your previous comment with ” No disrespect just honesty…..”? And didn’t you claim you were “looking at both sides of the issue”? Funny how quickly this veil of neutrality disappears the second you feel slighted by a website’s comment approval process.

Nearly every comment (and the article itself literally only utilized the author’s egotistical attitude, and nothing else) is saying nothing more than mean things to this man. I find it ironic that the because a citizen decided to question something, he is immediately called “mentally ill” for not blindly following everything he hears from TV. May I be the first to admit that I could not live with myself if I continued to collect thousands of dollars (even years later) after my child was murdered in school?

You can believe whatever farcical, goofball conspiracy theory you wish to indulge in, but this is patently false, by any metric. The title of this specific entry is “Fact-Checking More Of Wolfgang Halbig’s Absolute Nonsense”, and that is exactly what I’ve done here. Halbig uses one photo – a poor-quality still from a YouTube video – to make some absurd claim about a “disappearing sinkhole”, and I use eight – taken at different times, from different angles, and collected from different sources – to prove that it is absolutely, positively not true. That is objectively the definition of fact-checking. To say that I’ve done nothing but insult him here is entirely disingenuous.

I find it ironic that the because a citizen decided to question something, he is immediately called “mentally ill” for not blindly following everything he hears from TV.

I’ve never once suggested that anyone is mentally ill simply for questioning “something”. Again, that is simply not true.

May I be the first to admit that I could not live with myself if I continued to collect thousands of dollars (even years later) after my child was murdered in school?

May I be the first to admit nobody really cares how you would personally react to your child being murdered? Are you suggesting anyone that has ever received a donation due to a family tragedy is faking it?

  15. It’s be more interesting if you’d debunk the harder stuff instead. Like, why did the dispatch not report shots fired, making it a much lower priority call? Why were no paramedics allowed inside the school, let alone the children weren’t pronounced dead until the police made that decision 19 minutes after Lanza was found, if I’m not mistaken that still has to be verified by a medical professional. Not a single person was wounded, not a single person was even considered to be transported to trauma center. Why did we see things like the entire crowd walking circles around the fire station? Why did the police report leaving children alone in the rooms where the shooting took place. Why were half the children that supposedly died singing at the super bowl? Why were all the parents actors and all moved away before conspiracy nuts started up? Why was one of the deceased children photographed on Obama’s lap after the fact? Sure there was no hole and it was just a culvert, but there WAS mildew and severely neglected grounds. If you look today that’s all been cleaned up, because now it’s actually an operating school. All budget information shows no attempt to get this school to code in the years preceding the event. But I bet they have a new roof now.
Oh and those pictures on the wall were supposed to be at Reed Intermediate School. One of them was made by a middle school student, the other a high school student, another by an adult, and finally two were made by elementary school students in the Newtown school district. There really is no good reason why those would ever be at Sandy Hook Elementary. They made the wall look less water damaged I suppose.

It’s be more interesting if you’d debunk the harder stuff instead.

I only debunk what I see, and I see plenty of horseshit coming from Wolfgang Halbig. Or at least I used to, until he (finally) took me off of his unsolicited mailing list.

Like, why did the dispatch not report shots fired, making it a much lower priority call?

Citation, please. Listening to the calls included with the final report, I hear a number of references to shots being fired. 14‐36‐32 appears to be the first ETS call listed in the accompanying audio log, and the dispatcher says, and this is an exact quote, “Chris, I’m on the line with a 911 call with Newtown. They had a shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School.” So I’d like to know which dispatch you’re referring to.

Why were no paramedics allowed inside the school,

Again: citation, please. A number of paramedics went inside of the school, and that is corroborated by the final report. Do Cassevechia, Reed, etc, not count as paramedics?

let alone the children weren’t pronounced dead until the police made that decision 19 minutes after Lanza was found,

      Citation, please.

if I’m not mistaken that still has to be verified by a medical professional.

The victims were black tagged, following the SMART Triage protocol, by medical professionals. Again, this is all over the final report. Beyond that, I’m honestly not sure what you’re talking about. Please elaborate if you believe my answer to be insufficient.

Not a single person was wounded, not a single person was even considered to be transported to trauma center.

This is 1000% incorrect. I don’t mind having an honest discussion with deniers here, but I’m not going to bother repeating myself over and over if you aren’t going to at least make an effort to come equipped with the facts. I’m not trying to be cruel or dismissive here, but this is just nonsense and it makes you look like either a liar or an ignoramus. I thought it was common knowledge that Natalie Hammond and Deborah Pisani with both injured, the latter of which can even be seen in the Triage area by the firehouse in the Channel 12 footage. There’s also the matter of one children which – contrary to your claim – was rushed to the hospital, where they later died. The rest are known to have injuries “not compatible with life”, though medical personnel checked on them several times with a cardiac machine. Again, this is all in the final report.

Why did we see things like the entire crowd walking circles around the fire station?

We didn’t. You fell for an obviously (and poorly) edited video. Sorry.

Why did the police report leaving children alone in the rooms where the shooting took place.

      Citation, please.

Why were half the children that supposedly died singing at the super bowl?

They weren’t. This is a very stupid thing to believe. The children that sang at the Super Bowl were fourth graders; three years older than the victims. They were also different children. Contrary to your claim that I haven’t written about any “harder stuff”, I’ve already written multiple articles about this bit of nonsense. I even reached out to an anthropometrist/biometricist – she literally wrote the book on photographic facial comparisons – and asked her about it. Naturally, she thought the idea was ridiculous and confirmed that the choir member usually singled out by deniers when repeating this pablum was not one of the victims. This should be obvious to most normal people.

Why were all the parents actors and all moved away before conspiracy nuts started up?

All of the parents were actors and moved out of Sandy Hook? I hate to sound like a broken record, but citation needed. I would certainly love to see proof that all of the parents were actors. This is your claim, so you should be able to easily back it up.

Why was one of the deceased children photographed on Obama’s lap after the fact?

She wasn’t; it was her sister. *Again,* you accused me of ignoring this alleged “hard stuff”, but I have absolutely written about this specific claim elsewhere on my site. In the future, I would suggest looking at all of the available material before telling me what I have and have not tackled.

Sure there was no hole and it was just a culvert, but there WAS mildew and severely neglected grounds.

      According to who?

If you look today that’s all been cleaned up, because now it’s actually an operating school.

It’s been “cleaned up” because it’s *an all new school.* Do I really need to explain to you that a *brand new school* will look significantly better and cleaner than one that was 50+ years old? This is absurd.

All budget information shows no attempt to get this school to code in the years preceding the event. But I bet they have a new roof now.

Citation needed. Show me what was not “up to code”. In the 2011 School Facilities Survey, the roof – which was replaced in 2007 and scheduled to be replaced due to leaks – received a 4, or “not a problem”.

Oh and those pictures on the wall were supposed to be at Reed Intermediate School.

You’ve very clearly either misread or misunderstood. Only the entries – the 65 that were to be voted on – were on display at Reed; what’s seen hanging in Sandy Hook are the winners, and nowhere does it say that the winners were to be on display at Reed and Reed only. Nowhere. It’s clear that they made some small posters out of the winning entries and hung them around the district.

There really is no good reason why those would ever be at Sandy Hook Elementary.

According to who? You? Is this based on anything tangible? It was a district-wide logo contest; why wouldn’t they hang them there? Especially seeing as how two of the winners were from one of the district’s elementary schools, possibly Sandy Hook.

They made the wall look less water damaged I suppose.

So rather than simply repaint the walls white, which any putz could quickly and easily do within a manner of minutes, you personally believe that they instead dug up five pristine posters from a three year-old logo contest (in which there were five winners) and placed them in such a way that hid water damage that just so happened to manifest itself in such a convenient pattern? Come on.

Furthermore, I’d estimate these posters have been hung maybe five feet off of the ground. What kind of “water damage” do you believe existed five feet from the ground? I’m genuinely curious.

  16. There would be no conspiracy theorist on Sandy Hook if simple questions or procedural reports or documents were granted to US Citizens. Trivial questions like Maintenace work order copies of repairs on the school. Why weren’t trauma helicopters weren’t called. Why was Connecticut law not followed when declaring someone deceased. Why were paramedics allowed to try and save the little Chicken? These reasonable inquiries were met with a harassment, threats and a tyrannical attitude.

There would be no conspiracy theorist on Sandy Hook if simple questions or procedural reports or documents were granted to US Citizens.

An unprecedented number of official documents have already been made public; likely moreso than any other major crime in American history. Yet Sandy Hook deniers still exist. So I find the claim that “maintenance work orders” – which have never been public record, as far as I know – would make you all disappear for good honestly a bit laughable. Besides, these goal posts vary greatly, depending on the depravity of the denier. Sometimes they claim it’s “maintenance work orders” that they’re after. Sometimes it’s yearbook photos. Often times it’s autopsy photos. And let’s be real, if deniers claim that what has already been included in the final report is all “fake” – and of course everything that discredits their narrative is “fake” – what’s to stop them from saying the very same thing about maintenance reports? Come on.

Why weren’t trauma helicopters weren’t called.

Probably because the few victims that did not show signs incompatible with life (and were subsequently black tagged on the spot) were driven to nearby Danbury Hospital, which is only 11.4 miles from the school. In what universe does it make more sense to dispatch a helicopter to the school and then fly those victims to a hospital that is only 11.4 miles away? It’s ludicrous.

Why was Connecticut law not followed when declaring someone deceased.

Citation, please. What is Connecticut law, in this situation? Show your work. Provide sources.

Why were paramedics allowed to try and save the little Chicken?

      What?

These reasonable inquiries were met with a harassment, threats and a tyrannical attitude.

I have never harassed or threatened anyone, unless you believe asking Wolfgang Halbig for the $1,000 he promised in exchange for photos of the 2012 Veterans Day Breakfast is harassment.

  17. The claims made by Wolfgang Halbig that you say you debunked stand stronger than any of the fatuous verbiage that you post on here. You devoted a whole website to smearing the unimpeachable reputation of a man who has served his country with particular distinction. You aren’t even able to use your real name, let alone come up with any convincing arguments. This is a man who has made an honorable career assessing the safety of schools throughout the country and what you proffer as “debunking” is regurgitated information from a lot of already discredited government sources.

Strange that an alleged professional “investigative journalist” could fall for the tall tales of an admitted liar. If you can find the time (in between your investigative journalism work, which is definitely real), be sure ask him about driving Martin Luther King Jr. around Florida. I’m particularly curious to hear how he managed to do that during his brief stint as a State Trooper, seeing as how that was six years after MLK’s assassination. I’m sure you’ll get to the bottom of that one. Or maybe you can ask him how things are working out for him as a certified fire inspector. The state of Florida disputes that claim, but the guy’s got an “unimpeachable reputation”, so maybe they’re lying. It is Florida, after all!

But let’s focus in on the claims seen here; the claims you say “stand stronger” than the seemingly irrefutable facts I’ve posted alongside them. I say “seemingly” because after all that binary diarrhea, you haven’t bothered to refute them. Seems like the obvious thing to do, right? Since they’re so fatuous? Surely it should be a walk in the park for a serious, professional investigative journalist (posting from an Kenyan IP address) such as yourself, right? So have at it!

Laughable. Halbig’s big countersuit is his attempt to recover court costs. How brave! What a warrior for truth! He had his chance to make his case during discovery, which he avoided to the best of his ability (after multiple attempts to have the case dismissed). This is just like the time he promised to stand by Jonathan Reich or Lucy Richards and use their cases to prove, beyond any shadow of a doubt, that Sandy Hook was a hoax. And how’d that pan out? If Wolfgang was out to bring the truth to light, as you say, then why didn’t he do so in this case? He had his chance during discovery, but what did he do? I’ll let you see it for yourself:

What a hero. If there was ever a chance to back up his claims, one would argue it was the time he was asked about them, point blank, in a court of law. And he chickened out.

A car the size of that green car would not fit a safe distance between your “culvert” and the No Outlet sign. This No Outlet sign is missing from a couple of your photos, as well. I might also mention that the ad hominem attacks do nothing to add to your credibility….and isn’t is a bit hypocritical to condemn someone’s spelling and then refer to them as “Wolf” when that is not their name. That is a grammar error.

For the sake of clarification, lets say the photos you use and claim as real in this post are actually real.

They are real, and I’ve explained exactly how I’ve obtained these photos by using free, easy-to-use, publicly available tools. You’re certainly free to repeat the work that I’ve done here and confirm for yourself that they are legitimate.

The first photo is from Google Maps, and all one would need to do is look up 20 Riverside Road in Newtown and change the snapshot date to 2008. That should be obvious from the photo. You can also just go here, if you’re feeling lazy:

      https://www.google.com/maps/@41.4225877,-73.2786704,3a,75y,41.31h,79.87t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1swQoZtas7Thhp4iamz1WFcw!2e0!7i3328!8i1664

The second photo is from Google Earth, which you can either use in Chrome or download the app and run it from your PC/Mac. But I believe the historical satellite imagery, which I’ve used here, is only available via the app. So download it, look up 12 Dickenson Drive in CT, zoom in a bit, and use the slider in the upper-left corner to select 03/2012.

The third photo is from the infamous Channel 12 helicopter footage. Look it up on YouTube. I’m not going to re-watch the footage (for the hundredth time) in order to give you an exact timestamp, but it’s there; you’ll just have to watch the video and find it for yourself.

The fourth and fifth photos are – once again – from Google Street View. You can search for the addresses shown (17 Riverside Road and 2 Sunnyview Terrace, respectively), find an area that allows you to go back to October 2014, and then spin around a bit until you’re able to duplicate my screenshot. Here is a direct link to the 10/2014 view of 2 Sunnyview Terrace:

      https://www.google.com/maps/@41.4228599,-73.2783681,3a,75y,60.9h,66.47t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sTUNHPUm2t9ISXrqJhUTr6A!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

The sixth photo is from Google Earth, though it is nearly identical to the photo above it (they are, after all, both provided by Google). Again, if you believe these photos to be fraudulent or manipulated in any way, then I would strongly encourage you to take some time, download the Google Earth app, and look for yourself. Put forth a little effort before you accuse me of fabricating evidence.

Can you explain how a car could be parked the way it is in the Halbig photo in any of your photos? I cannot. I’ve examined them and your angles are all wrong. A car the size of that green car would not fit a safe distance between your “culvert” and the No Outlet sign.

Wait – why is “culvert” in quotes? That’s exactly what it is. It’s a culvert. This is inarguable at this point.

Anyway, if you folks are to be believed, every single photo that’s ever been used to debunk some absurd Sandy Hook claim allegedly reveals some sort of physical impossibility that proves they’re all “Photoshopped”. It’s something I see too often, yet it’s never backed up by any sort of evidence. A cynic might suggest that it’s nothing more than a cheap way of dismissing evidence without having to do any sort of actual work.

Both Halbig (who I suppose you’re now also accusing of using doctored photos) and I are using stills from the exact same video, though mine is of much higher quality, as per usual. The video in question – an oft cited Fox News interview with Gene Rosen – is still available here:

      http://video.foxnews.com/v/2043823745001/?#sp=show-clips

As seen in the still as well as in the source video, there is caution tape wrapped around the wooden post, the Sunnyview Terrace street sign, and the “No Outlet” sign. The green car is obviously parked outside of that tape, to the right (if you were standing on Riverside, looking down Sunnyview) of the culvert and the sign. The car is not between anything, so there is nothing impossible going on here. Or do you believe that Fox News expertly digitally inserted this car into their interview footage? If so, for what reason?

This No Outlet sign is missing from a couple of your photos, as well.

I’m not sure what you’re driving at here, but it doesn’t matter because no, it’s not. Which photo do you believe it’s missing from?

I might also mention that the ad hominem attacks do nothing to add to your credibility….

Much like impossible angles, conspiracy theorists are always on the hunt for logical fallacies, either real or perceived (though they’re often the latter). Again, one could make the argument that it’s just an easy, intellectually dishonest way of dismissing an argument outright, without having to make any sort of real attempt at actually refuting the claims.

There are no ad hominems here. An ad hominem is, by definition, “directed against a person rather than the position they are maintaining”. It’s not just latin for “insult”. So if I had said something like “there’s no disappearing sinkhole on Riverside Road because Wolgang is a fat idiot”, that’s an ad hominem; thoroughly dismantling his many falsehoods and then calling him a “bloated clown” for his continued dishonesty is not. There’s a difference. Ad hominems are not typically 8,000+ characters long.

and isn’t is a bit hypocritical to condemn someone’s spelling and then refer to them as “Wolf” when that is not their name. That is a grammar error.

Boy, I hope you warmed up before that stretch. Yikes.

Look, even if you don’t personally believe that “Wolf” is a valid diminutive for “Wolfgang” – in spite of the fact that “Wolfgang” literally translates to “traveling wolf” – the idea that shortening the man’s name is in any way comparable to his flimsy grasp on the English language is absurd. The guy is barely literate, and as he routinely asks for assistance from folks smarter than himself in his e-mail blasts, I think even he is acutely aware of his own orthographic shortcomings.

If you really wanted to nail me on grammar – which, if we’re splitting hairs, is not synonymous with spelling – I’m sure there are far more egregious examples to be found in the ~70 entries I’ve written for this site. Hell, “Wolf” isn’t even the most outrageous, flippant nickname I’ve used for the guy. In the past, I’ve also trotted out:

      Wolfie
      Wolfgang Failpig
      Wolfgang Halfbrain
      Wolfgang Imadumbass Blowhard
      White Castle Wolfenstein

And so on and so forth. Puerile? Absolutely. Examples of grammatical errors? No, of course not.

I wish Trump would just open up the investigation that Wolfgang wanted and get this over with. The hoaxers do not believe any of the evidence we give them. I know investigation would be a huge waste of time anyways, but unfortunately I think that’s the only way to settle this. I know the investigation would back fire on them anyways because I know for a fact that the shooting happened. If it does, maybe all of this conspiracy nonsense would go away! I just want some closure on this. It has been 5 years. It’s going on way too long enough. I just want the victims finally rest in peace.

Any sort of additional investigation at this point would be a tremendous waste of time, money, and effort. Furthermore, it would do nothing to satiate con-men like Halbig, because the result would be the same. Look, this dummy’s been asking the same nonsense questions for years, going to great pains to ignore the answers; he’s not interested in the truth because it’s already out there. Nothing will make him or his type go away, especially as long as he stands to profit off of it. And even if there were some sort of small miracle and they finally moved on from Sandy Hook, they’d be there to harass the victims of the next mass shooting.

He has another video out. This time he’s claiming that he contacted Sysco and was able to get an invoice for Sandy Hook, but the delivery wasn’t in Newtown, but Chalk Hill. I don’t remember the date, but obviously it’s before 12/14/12. What’s astonishing is the fact that you can’t just call up Sysco and get other people’s account information like that. So why people just passively believe this is hilarious. Plus, something like that would be considered as huge evidence that SHE wasn’t open, and yet he’s just chillin out on youtube with it instead of actually doing anything with it. Showing up to Washington, or filing a suit or something. Clearly it’s fake. Guess he’s getting desperate. Usually he just makes ridiculous claims. Now he’s creating false documents.

    • Gina on July 1, 2018 at 11:14 pm said:

What Wolfgang has been calling an invoice isn’t an invoice. It’s a screen shot of Compass’s customer record. The hoaxers don’t seem to understand that a invoice would detail the items delivered and billed. Wolfgang tweeted what appears to be an actual invoice showing a delivery to SH at Dickerson Drive in Sept 2012. The invoice is just in one tweet to Ryan Gaydos at Fox News 6 days ago. I’m guessing it was an accident.

If you’re looking to be “convinced” by tone, then you’re doing it wrong. Thankfully this site is backed up by plenty of actual evidence… you know, for everyone else. And if you can’t handle a bit of snark aimed at charlatans like James Fetzer and Wolfgang Halbig, etc, then you didn’t come here looking for the truth. And as such, I honestly don’t give a shit how you feel about my tone.

Maybe this is really profound for a thirteen or fourteen year-old, but as an actual adult I’m embarrassed just reading it.

Utter nonsense, obfuscation, denial, and misinformation.

Sandy Hook was a hoax, plain and simple.

What happened to Pozner’s lawsuit against Halbig? What is he afraid of? Why SO many unanswered questions?

Right. It’s so “simple” that you haven’t bothered to refute a single point made in this post. Or any other post, as far as I can tell. If it’s “misinformation”, then it should be fairly easy. I know from experience.

What happened to Pozner’s lawsuit against Halbig?

I’m not the guy’s lawyer and legal battles are beyond the scope of this site, so why are you asking me? Best I can tell, based on the information available here: Pozner sued Halbig for publishing his personal information on his website. Halbig not only removed said information, but nuked the entire SandyHookJustice.com website. The case dragged on, Halbig (repeatedly, maybe?) refused to comply with discovery. His information now scrubbed form Halbig’s now defunct site, Pozner dropped the case. Pozner then went on to sue James Fetzer while a number of families have gone on to sue Halbig (as well as Alex Jones and a couple of Halbig lackeys). If you find that answer insufficient, try asking the guy directly.

      What is he afraid of?

This is too rich. Why is Halbig so desperately trying to get out of the case in Connecticut? Isn’t this exactly what he wanted? Why does he – much like Alex Jones – now claim that he believes people died at Sandy Hook that day?

Halbig, 71, a former police officer who lives in Sorrento, Florida, said Wednesday that he does believe people died in the shooting, but authorities have refused to answer his questions.

But Halbig has always insisted no one died. He has said as much while appearing on Alex Jones’s show:

“Children did not die, children did not die, on December 14, 2012.”

That’s a total 180. Why the change of heart? What is he afraid of?

  28. OK, Wolfgang Halburg, and Jim Fetzer whatever you may think about them at least reveal their real names, and you can see them talk in videos on Youtube , etc. I have tried to find out more about you but just see twitter shots of you?? If you are so passionate about this which you seem to be here, why ar you not having more presence online?

Because deniers are insane, dangerous people (Google Lucy Richards, Matthew Mills, Jonathan Reich, Robert Ussery, Jodi Mann, etc. if you don’t believe me) and I’m not putting my family, my job, and myself at risk for this website, which I operate very part-time as a hobby.

As for Halbig (not Halburg) and Fetzer – both of which are in it for money and notoriety – who cares? What good is using your real name if you’re just using it to spew bullshit? Anyone who dismisses my work here because I use an alias does so because they can’t refute any of it.

You compare yourself to Jodi Mann, as a reason for not reveling your identity, but claim Halbig is not a whistleblower because he doesnt have good grammar? Or wants money? When there is plenty of evidence of money being involved with the sandy hook conspiracy…..do you see the irony here?

I have never compared myself to Jodi Mann.

as a reason for not reveling your identity

Well I wouldn’t say that I revel in my identity, but I do enjoy it. Oh, maybe you meant “revealing”.

but claim Halbig is not a whistleblower because he doesnt have good grammar?

I’ve never claimed Halbig is a whistleblower, because he’s not. I’ve also never claimed he could not be a whistleblower due to his fourth grade reading level, though I have wondered aloud why anyone would ever pay attention to such an obvious dullard.

Or wants money? When there is plenty of evidence of money being involved with the sandy hook conspiracy…..do you see the irony here?

Even if there were evidence of Sandy Hook being faked for money (and there isn’t), that would have no bearing whatsoever on whether or not Halbig has turned his denialism into a lucrative side gig (which he has, by his own admission). The two would not be mutually exclusive, and there would be no irony.

Uh-oh! Looks like someone called the Tone Police on me again!

Degenerates like Fetzer, Halbig, Tony Mead (of Absolute Best Moving in Hollywood, Florida. Let’s improve those search results!), etc. have said absolutely despicable, demonstrably untrue things about murdered first graders and their parents. So if you think you’re going to make me feel some type of way about insulting them, you’re shit out of luck. And if you’re going to ignore the mountain of evidence I’ve laid out here, across seventy-six entries full of well-researched material, due to a couple of puerile jokes, then it’s clear that you were never interested in the truth to begin with. So I truly don’t care if my style of writing turns you off because you are beyond hope.

      Nice Jewish name.

I really hate to be the one to tell you this, but A) this is not my actual birth name. My parents did not name me Shilliam. It’s a joke. B) “Shill Murray” is an obvious play on “Bill Murray”. Bill, short for William, is Germanic in origin. Murray is of course Scottish. Doesn’t strike me as a particularly “Jewish name”, but then again I’m not a anti-Semite, so what the fuck do I know?

And now you owe me one hundred Sorosbucks for the etymology lesson.

Honest questions and reasonable comments from all types of folks are allowed and encouraged but will sometimes remain in moderation until I can properly reply to them, which may occasionally take a little while. Contrary to what some of you think, losing your patience during this time and leaving another comment in which you insult me won't do much to speed up that process. If you don't like it, go somewhere else.

The types of comments that will no longer be approved include the following:

1) Off-topic comments. An entry about The Internet Archive's Wayback Machine are not the place to ask about Hillary's e-mails or pizza shop sex dungeons. Stay on topic.
2) Gish Gallops. Don't know what a Gish Gallop is? Educate yourself. And then don't engage in them. They are an infuriating waste of everyone's time and there is no faster way to have your comment deleted.
3) Yearbook requests. Like I told the fifty other folks asking for them: I don't have them, and even if I did, I wouldn't post them. I'm not about to turn my site into some sort of eBay for weirdos, so just stop asking.
4) Requests for photos of dead children. See above. And then seek professional help, because you're fucked up. These items are unavailable to the public; exempt from FOIA requests; and in violation of Amendment 14 of the US Constitution, Article 1 Section 8b of the Connecticut State Constriction, and Connecticut Public Act # 13-311.
5) Asking questions that have already been answered/making claims that have already been debunked. If you want to have a discussion, don't make it painfully obvious that you haven't bothered to read the site by asking a question that I've already spent a significant amount of time answering. I'll allow a little leeway here if you're otherwise well-behaved, but please, read the site. There's a search function and it works fairly well.
